Nah. North Shore is over rated! Get yourself down to South Auckland beaches - we are in Maraetai (close to Beachlands) and are surrounded by countryside and glorious coastline. And still only 40...

I love Auckland. It's so big that you can choose the lifestyle you want and still be near the city - beach, rural, inner city - whatever.

I think Auckland area is pretty hard to beat. Close to amazing beaches in all directions, skiing a few hours away, rural or urban (whatever floats your boat!), most of the jobs. We live in Maraetai...

Friends used Anglo Pacific. We used Pickfords - great. Have used them numerous times in the UK, Italy and France and have always had superb service.
