That was one of our expensive mistakes. Thinking we had to organize a b/b connection before we arrived. Same thing, stuff to sort out and keep up with in UK etc. Ended up using it for 3 weeks...

Didn't have to surrender uk license in WA. Even if you haven't got it with you, you can phone Swansea and get them to fax details to the Oz d/l office and they accept that. Cost around twelve quid...

Think about the sort of business you would like to run and then find a job in one. Even if the money is crap, it will tell you everything you need to know and could save...
