I have a 2 Year "Green Card".

How long before expiry should I file the I-751 to renew? 3 months, 6 months, a year?

If it helps when I had my AOS interview I got out my H1B stuff to show I was in status and the interviewer said "It doesn't matter if you are in status or not as long as you haven't left and come...

Yes i had the 1 Year AED. She told me based on that I was ok, but after seeing the "congrats, your green card is on the way" it meant the Employee card was redundant.

I argued it wasnt redundant...

But I had with me my Employee Auth card and even a valid H1B!
