May and September are both perfect

I would prefer September myself, because the seawater is warmer..
Depending on where you go of course... October in Barcelona is still nice and I suppose it can be still quite warm in the south.

Who can give me information about the area of Pravia, Asturia??
We found a nice place to stay, but are worried that it might be too touristy in August..

Paseo del Borne is Passeig (or Pg) del Borne yes and Ronda San Pedro is Ronda Sant Pere. Both supermercats are good and open every day till late.

El Corte Ingles is not open on sundays, is it??

There are actually just a few shops open, Barcelona is really quite on sundays.
Some Pakistani in el Raval are open, I think the 24/7 on Plaza...
