yeah it takes a while, in total my visa took about a year or so, perhaps a year and a half.

well I'm not actually there yet, I'll be arriving on the 11th August.

I got my Oz permanent residency visa and moved to Sydney 6 months ago and to be honest it just isn't for me. I was looking at...

totally agree. When I visited Sydney I thought it was amazing.

Personally I'm of an opinion that Sydney is great for a visit but not so great for living in. I know a lot of people will...

funnily enough that "vibrancy" in Oz was what made me want to move over here in the first place... sadly I've been disappointed once I made the move. As NZ isn't for you, Oz just isn't for me.

Hi,

I've had my stuff shipped over from the UK to sydney where it is currently sitting in storage with the shipping company.

I'm now considering moving to wellington and I'm shocked at the cost...

Interesting thread since I'm currently considering going the other way
