I've been driving over to the Richmond Arms on Saturday/Sunday mornings to watch the games. There's a good mixed crowd ok UK and French peeps. The pub is on 5920 Richmond Ave. @ Fountainview.

Only nine days to go until the big move and my stomach is in serious knots.......


It's an odd prospect when you'll be leaving you're better half in the UK until June.. not a good feeling.........

It will definitely be Lake Jackson for me over Freeport for the short term accommodation, and as you point out Freeport is a big chemical city :eek:.

Well at least i've got time on my side and a heads up to go and check out the other areas before the missus comes over i.e. the eastern side. I just wonder if the commute to Freeport from Clear Lake...

I've been looking quite a bit at har.com and it's been very useful. Given that I'll be out there and on-line I can always combine a bit area scouting with house hunting.
