Ah yes, well not deliberate had submitted too early and then couldn't edit blah blah.
Applied early for the 176 skilled sponsored ourselves online early Jan, heard nothing for months then completed...

They want photographs for the medical to check that the same person turned up at the medical as has applied for the visa - maybe you're totally ill and got a friend to do it!

Also, its 12 months from either the PCC date or medical to validate the visa - whichever is earliest is...

Cool... Thanks both.
We've sent off for the PCCs already but don't want to commit to the medicals yet. Rang around and there wasn't a huge variation in price - we'll be doing it for £220 each all...
