Im just wondering how long irish applicants have waited to get their passport back with visa. I sent mine wed- should arrive tomorrow i fly out 29th!!So im hoping i have enought time!:blink:

I would say you would be declined on the defacto- you really have to prove you have been living together at least 12 months- shared bills rent etc. Thats just my experience could be ways around it...

Thanks for that- it gives me hope that i'll hear soon fingers crossed!Have asked my agent to email High Comission to check status of the visa (worth a try!) so hopefully they will let us know...

I dont have a case no or anything as my agent has all that- they told me to expect a 2 or 3 wk wait so i guess i gotta try and take my mind off it and hopefully it will come through soon -...

Hi,
I waited for them to be requested but by what i see on here it can be better to frontload everything at once- people seem to get a decision very quickly.Im still waiting anxiously to hear!:(
