At last we got our visa.
hasn't really sunk in yet. Checked the status this morning & saw the important word "APPROVED". Then quickly opened the email, shaking like a leaf, to see the Grant Letter....

Logged on this morning & got a fright, the page looked very different. Then noticed Visa Approved at the bottom of the page. Quickly Logged onto the email & then screamed with delight....

try the format "first [email protected]" to email CO. Get the Meds booked & send off form for the Police checks on the ACPO website.
I think the 28 days is a standard reply,, don't worry...

Ours went by Royal Mail 11th Sept, don't know when they arrived in Sydney, but our Online Status Page has just changed today from "required" to "received". So that's 4 weeks exactly.

Well our status has changed this morning. Our Medicals now say "received", on the first page.
Tiger222 was right, she estimated that my would change on the 9th Oct.:thumbsup:

We bought into the aussie rate yesterday with HiFX, they can also set up a WestPac account for you. They will then transfer the funds when you agree a value date.

Well I'm emailed the CO last night, no reply yet, but at least the email didn't bounce back, so I presume that format was correct. Fingers crossed will hear something soon.
