"Please complete your examination within 45 days of the date of this letter"

It also says:

"We should be ready to issue your permanent residence visas...

I think we applied in July 05. I remember it took months just to get everything together to actually apply in the first place!! Then we got a hell of a shock when we were told it would be a 36 month...

We're applying from the UK, skilled worker class, and have the following:

Aug 05 AOR (36 month wait expected)
90-day letter received March 2007 (quicker than expected)
Sent updates May...
