5 years ended in january of this year, could it be the fact of one or more crimes of the same nature, 10 years has lapsed since the first offence.??

All i can say is i totally agree with you all..!!! That period in my life was stupid, i reached the lowest of the low. honesty is the best policy, and i'm very very sure people are entering canada...

HI all, Having been recently refused a work permit, because of 2 drink drive bans, one which was in 1996, the other 2000 having a 3 year ban on the latter.I've been told not to re-apply for a work...

hi dean, grant here, yes i would get the police checks done ssend them in asap, then all can be processed at once. good luck. we are still waiting for the big brown envlope at the back of the door....

MEDICAL EXAM..

Does anyone know what they do in the medical examination, is it a thourgh check over just to make sure your fit and well, which i'am.. do they ask for reports from your GP history, medical records...

hi, i also have the same conviction , looking at the advisory notes in the canada.gov.ca about this. it is 5 to 10 years from when the conviction cessed.ie 2000 1 year ban. you can apply in2006.....

Thanks for the advice, have just done it. although i will probably have to do again, by the time the applicatin for TWP comes through.:thumbsup:
