There is a lot more to Canada than Toronto. It is a shame that 90% of new imigrants settle within 50 miles of Toronto or Vancouver. This means you have to compete with gazilions of other imigrants...

You get two tax free shots at bringing your stuff here: One is when you land & carry stuff, the 2nd is when your stuff follows. After that you may have to pay tax on items in the inventory list....
