You can take as little or as much as you like. Especially if you already have a job to go to. If you had employment sponsorship, there would be no need to get a tourist visa, although you are correct...

Just had ours also. You need to send the grant letter, passports and a covering letter. They also ask that you send it by special delivery, silver pouch, and also send them an adressed...

Hi Helen,

Received successful sponsorship on Monday 30th, thank God.
Visa app. to follow very shortly. Just got back from a short break in Disneyland, so only found out last night.

Although we did the online application back on the 24th May we didn't get a case number until the 11th June.
So it's only been a couple of weeks since given a case number.

Hello Sandy, my OH is classed as a fitter & is on their list. Maybe they fast track the most wanted skill's first, I don't know. Seems strange how some get answers in a couple of weeks or even day's...

Well we did our online application on the 24th May & had a confirmation reply to say that it had been submitted successfully and would take up to 8 weeks.
But today, we have had an email from them...
