I don't really mind what I do and not afraid of hard work, but I do intend on earning enough to invest to secure a comfortable retirement in my 50's.

I have a decent job here so could invest each...

Can anyone tell me if a UK airline set up a US base would it be possible for a pilot to transfer on an L1 company visa, or would they have to prove that no US citizen could do the job? (hopefully not...

Seriously, that is not my situation.
my folks were born abroad and so qualify but they were living in the UK when I was born.
Anybody know?

The rules on the pdf instructions state that `but neither of your parents were born there or resided...
