OK because I started to create an account online with HSBC and it asked me for a TFN, which I left blank. Was just wondering what the tax implications of this was.

I can't get a certified copy of the old passport because it is lost, or am I missing something here?

So once I get the new passport I can just send it with the other documents you give here...

Similar to me. I applied 1st Aug 2002. Got letter (dated 28/303, recieved it 5th April) for medicals / police. Did some tracing and found they crossed in the post.

Sent back form 1022...

What if I have no idea about the address I will stay in (which is a required field) or the entry dates?...

Yup I can vouch for that. I got a reference which my boss forgot to date. It was bounced back as it was not dated, and needed to be re-written / signed and resubmitted!
