always better to base facts and figures on the minimum.... tha max amount ive seen jobs paying for what i do is around $28 an hour.

Yup.... but living off $50'000 now (2007) would be a real struggle accoring to most.
In the space of a week ive been completely put off the idea of canada.... everyone's agreed if i earned around...

I cant see why nearly everyone says that earning $25/$30 an hour would be the pits, when it pretty obvious that there will...

How much would $35 an hour be pre tax a year in canada ??

(40 hours x $35 an hour)x 52 weeks in the year.

My sums would make it $72'800 for a 40 hour week.

The mid/High end IT jobs ive seen...

So according to that website an average canadian Two parent families with children are taking home $71'000 after tax. Meaning their pre tax income is actually $100'000 ?

i got the wage tax figures from here.....

and presumed the after tax figure was divided by 12 to get my monthly...

I agree.... but when you work your pants off monday to friday (plus lots of overtime) and have a relativly good job compared to most, and can only afford to live in an area that has major...
