Damn, my wife has to repeat the medicals (radiography only).

Another 2 months to wait because of the backlog!!!

Visa grant: 2-oct-2007
Email received on: 29-oct-2007

Aprox. a month between grant and the letter.

The delay from time when medicals arrived on LCU and visa grant is: ~50-90 days

(2-3 months)

44 working days = ~60 days (working days + weekends)

44 working days:

44/5 ~= 8 weeks => 16 weekend days.

44 working days + 16 weekend days => 60 days -> 2 MONTHS or 8 WEEKS

In August was the same: the same 8 weeks delay. Nothing changed!!!

This dates are 99% accurate:

Applyed november-december 2006
CO ~june-july 2007
Medicals sent ~ begining of august 2007
--> + 8 weeks LCU delay

=> yesterday visa granted

i've heard rumors of limiting cc. I have 5 years of experience in driving motorcycles. I don't want to start in Oz with 250cc. How can i prove this experience in Oz?

By the time i've forwarded the meds with DHL (27 Aug 2007) they were 8 weeks late with processing. So i expected ~27 Oct 2007 to be processed.

Now i don't see many improvments in medical...
