The UK Civic has exactly the same 140hp 1.8 VTEC engine has the US/Canada Civic (no 2.2 diesel though). Main differences are (as stated) it is saloon rather than hatch and has more conservative...

DIY, driving a car, brain surgery etc. may be found easy to those with years of practice.

I think money might get in the way of doing this. It is basically going to cost over £1.5K to complete the process, and given that we need the cash for a house deposit, I don't see it as a likely...

Fair enough. I would of thought there would be checks and balances somewhere. There did appear to be an element of desperation in the actions of these lecturers though - as if there was some pressure...

I agree to some extent - we do like to knock what we have here in the UK. It is a big step to move - there must be something that Brits are liking over in Canada.
