Oh yes! 110 degrees today...was just in my car and the car thermometer said 108 already. I wouldn't be surprised if it went above 110 by late afternoon.

Sounds like Arizona to me! Where I am right now..born and raised and can't wait to leave..though I grew up in N. Arizona where it is not as hot but still..all the other things you said apply there...

Oh one more thing...I see it says Lake Country IL is where you live. My parents own property near Galena...but I know that is way west of Chicago.
