You will find a lot of people make or have made the same mistake.
In the UK you buy a house, you use a lawyer and your covered by the law if there are any come backs.
In Spain, even having an...

We used a lawyer recommended by the estate agent.
Like many others. Saying that I have heard of one couple using a lawyer recommended by their embassy and still ending up with an illegal house....
