its been a while since i checked in ,received my first packet from us london embassy today 8mar 08, it took 3 months filed i 130 on 3 dec 07 , there was a small half page slip added to the packet...

hi ya ..
we living in northern ireland 2 ...had the same idea about dublin ...phoned them ..never got 2 talk 2 to anybody..phone just rang and rang. so took trip 2 dublin emsassy with my us passport...

Cheers for all of the above. Will check in more regular, ya know how it is, lots to read up on.....Re-checked I-130 instruction sheet, who can file and who can't, looks like my error was future...

That was quick. Good to know some of our info seems to be correct. As regards my partners 11 year old child, she has full custody from the court and their father stopped contact. Getting written...
