Got our 309 today! Well, picked it up from the post office. Technically recieved it yesterday.

Front loaded everything on 19/3, including passport. I'll give you a rough summary:

We only had the passport, birth cert and wills certified. Everything else we just sent the originals in. We got it all back today with our 309.

Will do! We are spending 3 weeks in Enniskillen (where the OH hails from) before coming back to London to take me home! Will hopefully get to see a bit of the country then. Been a few times already...

Well the missus (she's form Northern Ireland) graduates from uni at the end of May and then we are just going to go spend a few weeks with her olds back in iIreland before flying out around June 20...

Ahh well that's not so bad. We had to get an NI check, they are pretty efficient, think it only took 2 weeks. DAT1 is the form you need.

Bit wary is all. Who did you get to certify your things? I might just get the accountant at work. I am a bit wary hence why we are sending a fair bit, only been together for 20 months and not married.

£90 from KL to the goldie. Sensational. We are looking at coming over in mid June and one way flights with the major carriers are £500 if your lucky.

You would have to go through the 'Other' line as you don't actually hold an Australian passport. Just like when you come to the UK on a WHV you don't get through the British line.
