if you come out with £200k and a good job to go to you should be very comfortable in NZ. I think that the south island is better personally but each to their own... there are some very nice places in...

It still think it is a silly thing to do. Try doing it in front of a mirror and take a look at yourself ....its just daft. I have nearly got my passport sorted now so I wont have to put up with it...

Having experienced both areas I feel that Dunedin has a better overall climate than Welly with its constant wind and rain, but each to their own I suppose. Most houses in NZ have inadequate heating...

I would say the cost of living is less in NZ personally.
Many things are cheaper...

I agree, but we did not have a choice about defending our patriosm the Labour government sorted that out for us. Politically correct,.... we had no say in it whatsoever ---- we had it force fed...

It didnt scare the English off all those years ago though did it. They just dropped anchor and told the locals to keep the noise down.
Its a pity that the AB's and Aus never got to play each other...

This will probably upset many on here but does anyone feel the same way as me about the Haka. Lets face it in 2007 it’s a bit of a silly thing to do.
If you translate the words they mean bugger all...
