By the way...why do you think you 'don't need an EAD to get a SSN'??
The only other SSN number they will issue is 'NOT authorized to work" stamped across it and is for other purposes....I think...

The I 601 can be filed at your visa interviw if you are in fact found inadmissable.You cannot file it until that point.

Folinskyinla is right about the honey...these people are only doing thier job..they didn't make the laws and some are very approachable..so treat them with respect and you will get the same in...

Hi There.
I thought this was the problem...you see the officer at the POE has the right to 'assume' anything.
If you have a copy of the transcript then it should contain ALL the conversation...
