I'd say that that just backs up what a previous poster said; where are your family ties, where is your 'home', etc etc.

Bailing out for a couple of weeks while gratuity is paid and then rejoining...

I was speaking with Brian Lewington at Sandown (Emigrate show) today.

He was really helpful & knowledgeable. He has dealt with many many UK pensions and their subsequent transfer to Canada.
