Re: Naturalization Ceremony in St Paul scheduled!! + Question...

Would I need to ask for the words to be removed up front, or just on the day? I guess I'm not 100% clear on that part. Mr. Keane requested that on his N-400 which is now well behind me.

Part of...

Re: Naturalization Ceremony in St Paul scheduled!! + Question...

Thank you for that link! I was wondering the 'God' stuff, as I'm not a believer myself, but not to the extent I refuse to say it so I don't feel inclined to ask for it to be changed. The Social...

Re: Had my citizenship interview today - question

Do the docs have to be the originals, or are copies OK? The document (N-14) doesn't specify, which makes me think it's asking for originals?

Also - are tax returns the 'strongest' form or proof?...

Re: Had my citizenship interview today - question

We sent a couple of utility bills and I had some insurance information with joint names - but they have a specific list and I didn't have any of the items on it. It seems that they're looking for tax...

Re: Had my citizenship interview today - question

I'll be sure to update my progress! I lurk a lot but the truth is, a lot of my experience is now a flaky recollection... some people on here just have a much firmer grasp on it than I do. I'd hate to...

Re: Had my citizenship interview today - question

Thanks Meauxna :) I think the pics they have are the old format (me looking at 45 degrees to one side) so that's probably why, now you mention it. I'll get in the post quick-quick!

Yeah it's been...

Had my citizenship interview today - question

I had my citizenship interview today, seemed to go perfectly well - I answered all of my questions correctly - but they've asked for additional information:

Re: I864 Questions and a Update from me :)

The short answer is, I didn't let the 'most recent tax year' line distract me from what I was aiming to prove - ie. that we're OK for dosh today, not last year. On the income line, I inserted an...

Re: AOS on K3 New Medical??

I had my medical in July 2003 (me being a K-3) and my AOS interview last week - I didn't have a new medical and they didn't ask me to have one.

Just don't vomit on the interviewer and you should...

Green card arrived! + Question...

My green card arrived today! And there was much rejoicing. The picture even looks like me (though is the older distracted-by-some-twit-opening-the-PhotoMe-booth-curtain-while-I'm-in-it style) and...

Re: I got Married, AOS question

Re: I-864: I would, even though my interviewer didn't want mine. She just got Jessika to sign and date another final sheet, which she notarized. Take the belts-and-braces-and-another-belt approach......

Re: AOS Approved and I-551 received!

Well thank you times two. The picture was taken New Year's Eve 2002. I know you mean Jessika's the cute one, but it seems that I look younger now - I never got asked for ID back then, now I do! Odd.

Re: AOS Approved and I-551 received!
