Re: Listing parents as dependents but not migrating?

As both parents are still together and alive, they are deemed dependent on each other. Hence they are not dependent for migration purposes and no medicals/police clearances are required.

Our understanding is that Perth (usually postcodes 6000-6200) is NOT part of this SIR scheme. Hence you need to live outside the Perth metropolitan area.

A job offer is not required for the SIR for WA although it would indicate a strong desire that you want to live in WA, which helps with acquiring sponsorship. Although only one factor.

Most accountant graduates in Australia aged under 30 and with good english will meet the current 880 passmark of 115 points. And so this change to MODL will not effect benefit you any further....

This visa is supposed to have priority processing according to DIMIA. Given that there are a number of categories that will now have this priority status...
