There is a 60 grace period after graduation if you did not file for OPT to leave the US. Also there is another 60 day grace period to leave the US after the completion of OPT.

So they are two 60...

I think the best option of keeping the family together is to continue with the petition for the parents, and have the brother get into an American university.
This way he can come here on an F1 visa...

Hey Adnams, Vermont Processing center is the center that governs CT...you should transfer you petition to them. Maybe this might be the reason for your hold ups.

Sorry for not mentioning my visa type it's F1. I truly believe the processing is random. Because I know of people who filed for their EAD since February and still haven't gotten anything back as yet....

I found this table online don't know if it will help. But this is the 2007 HHS Poverty Guideline Table from the federal government. These numbers are calculated at being 125% above the poverty...
