Hi All...well its done...Nomination and Visa both lodged. As we used an agent both where 'Decision Ready Applications, so, we will see how long it takes!!!

Yes, I am here...Perth. I didn't know that you couldn't get them done free of charge overseas. OMG, it must cost overseas applicants hundreds to get them done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my docs certified 2 weeks ago...78 of them by the nice policeman at the local station and it cost me nothing!!!! I have done this twice, for my 457 and for my 856 visas and it cost me nothing...

Hi. He can apply for PR after 2 years of being on the 457 visa which will include the requirement of 12 months with the sponsoring employer. You can apply earlier, but will need his skills assessed...

The simple one just has your name, place and date of birth which is not sufficient for immigration purposes. You need an Unabridged one which is double the size and includes both...

Oh I forgot to say...that the company also has apprentices (engineers) working as well which are Australians...so surely that counts towards the training side, or is it just my training that counts?
