So basically if youre not going to be earning anything outside of your job in NZ then its not worth going for it as it stops you receiving working tax credits.

Well nearly there!!!

Land in Auckland on 30th Aug, few days there then off down to Tauranga to start new life!!!!

Anyone had fun and games with trying to sort out Child Tax Credits. We are having real issues with them demanding forwarding addresses, asking what we will make on our house sale etc etc.

We put a letter in with our police checks saying they were urgent and rang the police station we sent them to to verify they had read the letter. They then rang Scottie Yard to accelerate the process...

I was going out to Albany and Glenfield daily so it reaches right out to the suburbs. Got caught out by missing a couple of changes though but you learn I guess:D

Was there recently commuting to interviews as I forgot my licence:curse:

Bus services are generally good and not overcrowded. You may get stuck a bit coming in and going out of Auck at peak times...

Want to get registered with a Bank in NZ ahead of our move, can somebody recommend a decent one.

We (me, wife and 3 young kiddies) fly out on 29th Aug and will be based around Tauranga in Bay Of Plenty so keep in touch we aint that far apart, perhaps we can meet up in the future....

Just about completed all paperwork for WTR Application.

Would it be processed quicker if we drove it down to the NZ London Immig Offices or is it just as quick if you "next day" post it?:huh:

I have had my police checks back which are clear. I do however have a convicted conviction(nothing major) from 7 years ago. Should I still declare this incase ir rears its head in...

Just spoken to NZ Immigration in London and they said it was the correct one and the police missing my middle name didnt matter as they had all the info from my proof of ID sent.Panic...
