I've been here many yers and can't help feeling the standard of living and the driving!! has gone to the dogs. That said I'm not sure if perth would be for us....too far from the UK

Can be tricky depnding on the ages of your kids. Try abudhabiwoman.com or expatwoman.com both have quite good info on what schools are really like and the current stuation.
