I have the form, but I'm not eligible for the first 3 months (have to have private insurance for that - and probably need it to supplement OHIP afterwards). I'll apply a little ahead of the deadline...

We needed the visa, pasport and the list of the goods that were following. We also had proof of our financial status but no-one asked for it!

My wife used to holiday there and we have found a lovely house with a huge garden about 50 yards from the lake in a smahing small town - and the neighbours are just lovely, too.

It does seem to be entirely random. I had no reply at all to two of my emails, but one of them got me a phone call from Canada House within 48 hours. But there was no obvious reason why that one...

That's great news, Kat. With luck the PPR should arrive within within a few days (Post Office strikes permitting!) and then just a few weeks later you should have the visa :thumbsup:
