It only took 3 weeks to get your registration?? Thats amazing! lucky you.. Where are you heading in Aus. I will contact AHPRA again this week and see if there has been any progress...

Think you may be right as another post said a friend of theirs had just received their registration from AHPRA after waiting 3 months.. who knows eh??

I too took 6 attempts to pass the IELTS after completing three years at University and never failing any exams or essays, I couldn't get about a 6.5 in the reading test and was visiting the doctor...

I have passed the IELTS test 6th time lucky for me!!!

I received 9, 8, 8, 7

and have just paid out £600 to commence my application for PR in Australia... anyone know how long it will take??

Well i sat it a couple of months ago and got 9, 9, 8 and a 6 in the reading!!!! any tips for the reading!!!

You obviously did well on the reading! any advice!

The writing is tough too you just need to put as much information as you can, giving suggestions...

I have completed 3 years at UNI and am now working full time as a qualified nurse on a busy emergency unit at my local hospital.

I am about to sit the IELTS test for the 3rd time!!

Yes as I finish in June 2009 once I got PIN I will apply then, and it will last until June 2010, which would be fine as I want to be out there in Jan 2010... thanks for your help!
