Re: living in nz part-time, house-buying and business

That sounds a bit of a contradiction. You want to escape the rat race and live somewhere peaceful - with recovering alcoholics, addicts and offenders

Have you looked to see if...

Re: does anyone know if there are many heating and ventilation installer jobs ?

Re: what age do the school start? is it 4 like the UK?

Hi,

Kids start school on their 5th birthday (not much of a birthday present is it)

I have found nursery/childcare costs a lot cheaper over here. Approx $4-$8 per hour. Also, once a child is 3...

Re: electrical items

We bought all of our electrical stuff except the telly (as it was pretty old). It all worked but we did find that if we had too many of our UK things switched on at once then one of the switches on...

Re: In the news today

Yes. If you went to a medical forum for advice, you would know that it is just somebody sharing their experience and if you thought there was something seriously wrong then you go to a doctor.

I...

Re: Trips to 'home'

You could take the car seats with you but it sounds like you'll have enough to deal with looking after the 2 kids and the luggage (it's difficult trying to stack car seats on top of luggage, they...
