Do a scan for available networks (probably under phone settings / networks). If it doesn't come up with Movistar, but it comes up with other networks, then the network is probably down.

Reboot the phone. I have been getting SIM registration failed almost every day for the last 12 months... reboot always fixes it... :)

Visit the football stadium in Murcia when there is a match on. They DO park on the actual roundabouts as well as around the island and on the kerbside. :eek:
