sorry to hear about your hubby and hope he is feeling better soon. Moving is very streassful and is one of the triggers for depression (also moving house/changing job etc) so all in all it is not...

Does anyone know when is /was the cut off date to be resident before the new legislation kicks in? I thought I had read July 2007 but dont seem to be able to locate this anywhere.

if that is the case, ie, you have to be resident, (and I agree with this interpretation) when is the cut off date. Kicking myself as I could have made my migration landing last January but didnt.

Hi, in similar situation and when I came through immigration a few weeks ago back to UK I asked them, Thye said no worries (mate?!) just show them the old passport with the visa together with the new...

My situation has deteriorated even more. They are getting together, (ie she is leaving her partener for mine) I truly hope not in my (1/2 of the)...

hi, house sale, yes its not binding. job, no way I can salvage it (and how embarassing to tell them why). property in Tas and cars, bank account and stuff will be a problem. have a job in Melbourne....
