Just one sort of final question!

I am contacting my parents to see what if any documents they have to help but need to find an attorney.

I would prefer one that has offices in the UK for easier...

I will but not sure on timescale for how quick things may happen.

I will contact an attorney and lay my story out and see what if anything they suggest. Or indeed what course of action may be open...

I think I need to find a good attorney to help me out.

Having just spoken to my mother she did not inform the Immigration Services that we have left or had abandoned the US and visa....

1) How do I choose and find a good attorney?

2) Would they be based in the UK or the US? As I am in the UK it would be easier to...

That is something I will look into and contact US Immigration Services and see if they can help.

Is it best just to contact them using the email address on their website. Don't want my questions...

Ok thanks I am not sure what mum did and neither is she!!!

I will take it that it will have lapsed after all this time and was only valid for the period I lived there as a child.

On one side it has my name, dob, port of entry, class (np-1) and a number by my name.

Ok to answer the questions as best I can.

I have an alien card from when we landed in New York but this was 1968 when I was 2.

Dad was head hunted by a major U.S. Company and they sorted out...

I first entered when I was 2 as a British passport holder as were my parents. Dad was sponsored by a job and me and mum came along as well.

I stayed until I was nearly 4 and returned to the UK...

Agree with you on that as Dad is getting on a bit and the processing time is 11 years so not sure if he will still be around then.
