When we came here, got a form of the AFPOP website, filled in all the details, sent two copies + two copies of licence to the IMT in Faro, they keep a copy and send you a stamped copy back.

As well as the driving schools in Tavira the Camara city shop situated in the Gran Plaza will also do it for you.

Just to let you know they are quoting up to 4 months at the moment to renew a PT licence, when we came here it took us 3 weeks to change from a UK licence to a PT one, my wife had to renew her PT...

I am a member at Benamor which is just outside of Tavira, a full membership is €2000 but you can get a €100 membership + €58 for the PT golf federation which entitles you to play in the club comps...
