Taking maid for weekend to Oman

Can someone please offer advice.
Want to take the maid with us to Oman for a weekend trip (babysit/help with kids etc.), but would like to know a couple of things.

Why would you not be pouring concrete in 40deg heat? Do you think all concreting here stops when it gets beyond 40deg?

Sheraton next to Corniche Hospital do brunch with unlimited fizz for 195 (or at least it was).
Food's ok, but nothing to compare with Shangri-La or Beaches Rotana.

As per UAE Labour Law, if you have an NOC and leave as a good leaver, then you have no ban.
The years service thing was dropped at the beginning of this year, so in theory having done less...
