Trial by ordeal....I think witches in the middle ages had it easier, compared to how draw out this immigration lark is proving to be.

So only a 4 month wait for NZQA to do an assessment, only 4...

I was/am in exactly the same position, most of my teaching has been on supply. I got a "to who it may concern" letter from each LEA, along the lines of " worked for x days during the period...

All is forgiven, well almost!

Got my assessment back today:thumbsup: so only took 3 months.

So will submit the EOI and get ready for the next wait.;)

I finally got my certs back earlier in the week unannounced, so at least they are safe. No report though, just a letter saying NZQA now needs to verify the information,...

After several e-mails NZQA decided they had not actually processed my application! It is now waiting to be processed, only 9 weeks since they got it, so not a happy bunny.

I emailed NZQA the last week to see if I could get an update on when my assessment might be completed. On Tuesday a reply came back saying it had been sent on 27th of April.

I am sure you are right about University Teaching. However according to TeachNZ getting your qualifications passed by NZQA is a must.
With out an assessment you can't register with the teaching...
