Re: transport calgary 2 edmonton

I forgot to mention that Yes Car Hire (Canada) also do free 1 way between Calgary & Edmonton, but they didn't have any suitable cars available on our dates.

Re: transport calgary 2 edmonton

Hi Gryph,

Yep. We're coming on 8th August - we got another job, and then a standard lmo in 6 weeks (after the 10 month wait last time!!!!). Funny how things work out, huh?

Scott

I've got FOC 1 way drop off from Calgary to Edmonton at www.carrentalsite.com - the quote was the best as well.

No news here. I think it's a national holiday today, so that should do a good job of slowing the lmo people down this week!;)

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline

They did to me. I explained that I had contacted my employer loads, and that they just kept fobbing me off saying we have to wait. I think it made a difference that my lmo was submitted May 07 & they...

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline

Thats pretty much what we had with our first lmo. I think the employer had it for weeks, but because the company's future was uncertain they kept passing the buck onto Service Canada.

Re: We got it, our LMO

Congratulations:thumbsup:

Just a couple of questions - was it an alberta lmo?
and was it standard (i.e. not e-lmo, pre approved, etc...)?

I'm just curious about how long mine will take (we...

I was on the phone to HRSDC every couple of weeks when my last lmo was in, and to be honest it seemed like they just plucked dates out of the sky. I was told a...

Re: HRSDC LMO Timeline

Thank god for that!

Our last lmo took about 9 months, and then they decided not to employ me (company downsizing) - I could do with a bit of luck this time round:D:D
