Travel While N-400 Processing

Is it possible to travel outside the US for approx 2 weeks during processing of the N-400.

If so, do I need to get approval or can I just leave?

And is it frowned upon?

I was not aware that I couldn't file until AFTER my thrid wedding anniversary. I assumed it was the same as residency - 90 days before residency anniversary and wedding...
