We are moving back for a few years and have dual citizenship.

Am I right in saying that we should enter with our UK passports then if we visit over the coming years enter with the UK one also...

You can live nicely on $100k in California but like other posts say, you'll need around $200 plus 20% down to buy a house. You'll take home about $5100 after taxes and 401k deductions (assuming 8%)....
