I think you will fall foul of the Foreign Investment Fund rules in that case. I am led to believe that the ATO will tax you on the growth in the fund year on year for investments held offshore.

Sea-Breeze has a tomtom one and we were thinking of buying the Australia maps for it from tomtom.

Does anyone have any feedback on tomtoms in Aus?

Hi

We faxed our application for permit on 12 Dec and the permit arrived by snail-mail on the 28 Dec. It is dated the 21 Dec so it was a week in the post.

Initial enquiries with Spotswood...

I understand now - doh! If you have an agent doing it for you then they will book it all for you; I think that is the way we will go, pay lots of money and let someone do it for us :D

That isnt what happened to me, The AQIS permit tells me that i have to now go and book my quarantine at one of the 3 centres but it doesnt appear to have booked it for me.

I would check that out...

Its my understanding that there is nothing to do at the Aus end. Once the quarantine is booked thats it. The quarantine centre staff collect the dog from the airport and take it straight to the...

We also had a quote from www.Airpets.com for our Staffie. LHR to Melbourne was £1954.

The LCU has requested further info from the panel doctor for my other half.

In their letter they have requested results to serial code 509.
