As a final thought can I ask how long ago this was because I see that the latest forms were produced at the end of June this year?

OK and thanks. It seems crazy that the UK form does not ask for countersignature for renewal but the Canberra one does - but does not mean it?

I could find no email to send just a $2+ per minute...

Thanks but I think you must be applying from the UK. The form I have is C1 and the guidance notes say it must be countersigned for renewal?

I need to renew my UK passport. Having been here for less than 2 years I donâ€™t know anyone here who could sign since they should have known you for at least 2 years. I could send for signatures...
