Well I just registered for online banking with Huntington and found that I have a "Premium" savings account that I never asked for in addition to my free checking account.

I had tried to open an account before I had my SSN with a couple of banks (Huntington, 5/3 Bank) and was told that because of the Patriot Act I couldn't open an account without a SSN. :(

I went into my local Huntington and provided them with my Social Security card, State ID and Passport and they opened me a checking account without any problem.

I also called the pre-paid credit...

I'm on the February 2007 list (my number has a * next to it). If I wait until the March 2007 list is issued will that do it?

Finally managed to e-file for renewal of my EAD.

It goes on about BCIS scheduling biometrics on the confirmation receipt.

Surely I don't have to go through biometrics again for a renewal??

Got a confirmation e-mail from USCIS today. It says "... after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

So the I-765 I filed...

I re-read it twice and I don't see the answer to my question. I may be as thick as a whale omlette for asking but if I get my EAD biometrics done first and don't get my AOS biometrics done until...

So there is a biometrics appointment for AOS and a seperate one for EAD. But is the EAD dependant on the AOS biometrics being completed?

Yes, i'm waiting on the appointment for AOS biometrics/fingerprinting.

They asked me to bring the confirmation number they gave me on the phone, my passport, 2 copies of the previous EAD...

Yes an appointment for biometrics for the EAD. The 800 number scheduled one.

I refiled the I-485 and got the NOA but am trying to use the old I-765.

Sorry for the confusion. I called the 800 number to see if I could schedule an appointment for the previously filed I-765. My previous AOS was denied and I have since filed a new AOS and had a NOA.

I called the service center this morning and scheduled an appointment for the work authorisation I had filed with my previous AOS. They seemed okay with the situation regarding me having filed it...
