My post is not to stir up trouble but just mentioning the facts that age discrimination is not allowed in US.

Anyway, it looks like the chances are very slim.

In that thread, it says that as long as you have a employer who is willing to hire you, there are no age restriction.

It is already too late to open a canadian account. It has drastically depreciated within the 2 years since I waited.

Why doesn't it look good if I reapply later when I tell them the reason now ?...

I was in the USA for only 5 months (less than 6 months) and yet I receive a request for a FBI police certificate.

Strange as it sounds, that was what my initial assessment required me to do. I am totally surprised as it is incurring unnecessary cost for me. That 2 months were on 2 separate trips, one month each.
