Barbados daily news says property prices falling.

This might be the right bit of info for someone. The leading Barbados newspaper is stating that realtors say prices in Barbados have come down off a high by 15-30%.

You forgot the Barbados Light and Power's 10% Fuel Adjustment Clause. That spiked my once $40 electric bill of mine to over one hundred and something dollars... And that has had a knock on effect...

There's not much to CARICOM. It isn't that powerful. The only way someone from Jamaica can move to Barbados is if they qualify as a "skilled national."

It was MUCH better when operations for the Eastern Caribbean were based in the big white building at Wildey (Barbados). But now it's base in Jamaica, and operations were all outsourced away from...

I don't know a whole lot about the FWI end. :-) But Barbados is now bound to the European Union economically since the signing of the EU-CARIFORUM Economic Partnership Agreement...

Wherever you decide, Barbados should be easy to work with. Barbados has direct flights to St. Lucia, and TeleBarbados' subsea cable to the USA has St. Lucia as the only hop.
