Re: Documentations

We took high quality colour scans of all such documents, or printed them directly from the web if available online. Of course, some documents have to be originals, but CIC pretty clearly states...

Re: Attention Mr. Andrew Miller please give me some advice

Right. I was pregnant for a while before I was able to get my BC CareCard, but luckily I had it by the time I was 5 months pregnant. I paid for three OB/GYN visits out-of-pocket, 3 sets of lab...

Re: Best Canadian invention

I can't believe the "Jolly Jumper" didn't make the list.

Re: Crossing border with car from Canada to USA with newborn-what documents are neede

Wow, is this travel absolutely, positively life-depends-on-it necessary?
I am no expert, but I would not even consider attempting this!
We will not be travelling with our baby until we have a...

Re: Canadian Resident - Working for USA company ?

I live in Canada and work via telecommuting for a US company. I'm a US citizen myself, but my group also recently hired a UK citizen, who works on-site in the US. Hopefully between the two I can be...

Re: BC health insurance

It was specifically excluded in mine, and in most.
Considered both pre-existing and self-inflicted. ;)
You will probably have to call around to find anything that covers it, if such a thing...

Re: does canada need another plasterer?

How about Victoria, BC? :-)
We recently bought a house which has plaster walls in the older sections of the house. My husband asked around about plasterers, since we have to do some electrical...

Re: Vancouver to victoria travel ??

Well, I did say "decent", not "wonderful". ;)
I think it's one step better than your typical fast food.
Especially I thought kids would think it's ok. Then again, I often take the MV Coho ferry...

Re: Vancouver to victoria travel ??

Re: Quick Question?

This was important to me, too, and I think is a legitimate question - my spices had a total value greater than any one of my pieces of (admittedly crappy) furniture, meant more to me, and were more...

Re: In-person Buffalo passport stamping experience

Did the Buffalo thing yesterday.
The high-strung woman is still there. Yes, listen carefully, follow her instructions exactly, and don't ever argue with her, no matter how politely. Don't ask...
