Haha - my boyfriend will love that - "paid servant"! Unpaid more like.... thanks for all useful advice guys, seems to be quite a confusing area and sounds like even though only going for a short time...

so if i have sufficient funds (i definitely do), and a home in uk, am i best to say just visiting a friend for a few months? and hence still apply quite legitimately for b2?
certainly no plans to...
